Apple announces three new products

Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR -November 08, 2014:A busy Apple Store in Hong Kong located inside IFC shopping mall, Hong Kong.

It was just a little over a month ago when Apple held their long-awaited event to reveal the iPhone 6 and Apple Watch. But apparently it was time for another one. On Thursday October 16, Apple held an additional event and unveiled a few more of their new products. Here’s a quick summary of the newly announced gadgets.

iPad Air 2
At only 6.1 millimeters thick, the iPad Air 2 is being called the thinnest tablet ever. For the first time, an Apple iPad will come with its Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint unlock feature. The tablet has an anti-reflective screen a faster processor. Apple says the battery will last for 10 hours and there is a camera on both the front and back. The iPad Air 2 will start at $499 with preorders beginning October 17.

iPad Mini 3
Apple also introduced the iPad Mini 3. There are no real design changes from the iPad Mini 2, except for the addition of the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, a new gold color option and improved cameras. Like the last iPad Mini, it has a 7.6-inch display and a high-quality Retina display. The iPad Mini 3 will start at $399 for a 16 GB model.

iMac
The new iMac made quite a stir, with its ultra-high-definition Retina display on the 27-inch display. This will be Apple’s largest high-resolution display ever. The new iMac will come with 1 Terabyte of storage and a 3.5GHz processor. Prices start at $2,499. There will also be a new Mac Mini, with two thunderbolt 2 ports, Intel Iris and HD Graphics 5000, starting at $499.
